During that time, the German WDR broadcast station discovered this talented organist and featured a concert recorded at the famous Cologne Jazzclub „Subway“.

At the Johann Wolfgang Goethe Universität in Frankfurt am Main, Maggy studied music siences. Sie received classical piano lessons from from the concert pianist Ronald Fries. Furthermore, she studied concert literature for church organ with the conductor and concert organist Bernd Lechla at Heilig-Geist-Kirche, Frankfurt Praunheim und Lutheran Church Frankfurt Ginnheim.

In parallel, Maggy Scott concentrated on he perfection of her unparalleled pedal playing technique and studies about the composing of new organ music, inspired by the Jazz ans the musical richness of Indian rhythms. 

Maggy Scott has developed a new kind of organ playing style including a unique, fascinating bass pedal playing style.
